Shoden is a Japanese word meaning 'first teachings'.

It is the first level of teachings in the traditional Japanese branch of Reiki called Usui Reiki Ryoho.

Energy is a word that very few people can explain in all its complexities. You could read a book on it or be told all about it but it is the actual experience itself that teaches you.

Therefore a complete treatment is given and received by each participating student and many hands-on exercises are used in a group environment during Shoden. This practical experience leads to an inner understanding of energy.

This is the first of two payments for the Shoden Reiki Level I class.

Balance for Shoden Reiki Level I AU$225.00

This is the balance payment required for Shoden Reiki Level I. It must be paid 1 week prior to your Shoden class.

Payment for Shoden Resitters
This is a reduced payment for Shoden, Okuden or Shinpiden graduates of the International House of Reiki only.
 
Resitter's Payment AU$125.00

If you have already taken Shoden Reiki Level I with the International House of Reiki then you need only pay a minimal fee to resit. This includes all meals and accommodation.

Payment for extra night accommodation
If you are coming from a long distance it is possible to book into the Retreat for the night prior to, and after, your course for a minimal fee. This extra night booking includes the vegetarian evening meal and breakfast.

Your Teacher, Frans Stiene

Frans Stiene is a Senior Reiki Teacher and researcher at the International House of Reiki. He teaches and gives talks annually in North America, Europe, Australia and occasionally Asia. Frans is the co-founder of the International House of Reiki with his wife, Bronwen, with whom he also wrote such critically acclaimed books as The Reiki Sourcebook and The Japanese Art of Reiki.
