International House of Reiki

Our Seiza Stools have been created especially for the International House of Reiki. They are unique in that they are made from Australian Plantation Radiata Pine and protected with natural non-lead oils.

Traditional forms of the system of Reiki focus on meditation as a form of generating greater amounts of energy in the body and as an aid in changing the practitioner's perceptions.

Traditionally, the student sits with the legs tucked up under the body. This can take many years of practise before it becomes comfortable. Seiza stools take the pressure off the knees, calves and ankles and are a joy to sit on to meditate.
